We Rebuild & Balance

Full disassembly, cleaning, inspection, component replacement, reassembly, VSR balancing to 0.1g, and VNT/VGT actuator calibration where applicable.

4

Tested & Returned

Performance tested under simulated boost. Shipped back with detailed build report, VSR balance certificate, and actuator calibration values.

What's Included in Every Turbo Rebuild

Complete Disassembly & Inspection

Every turbocharger is fully stripped down. Compressor wheel, turbine wheel, center housing, bearings, seals, wastegate, and VNT/VGT mechanism are individually inspected for wear, cracking, and erosion.

VSR Core Balancing

Vibration Sort Rig (VSR) balancing ensures the rotating assembly is balanced to within 0.1 grams. This eliminates vibration-induced bearing failure — the #1 cause of premature turbo death.

Performance Flow Testing

Rebuilt turbos are tested under simulated boost conditions. Compressor efficiency, turbine response, boost threshold, and wastegate/VNT calibration are all verified against OEM specifications.

VNT/VGT Actuator Calibration

Variable geometry turbochargers require precise actuator calibration. We test and calibrate electronic and vacuum-operated actuators to ensure correct boost control across the RPM range.

Premium Component Replacement

All journal bearings, thrust bearings, piston rings, oil seals, compressor-side seals, and heat shields are replaced with OEM-spec components. Carbon seals used where applicable.

Thermal Stress Testing

Critical components undergo thermal cycling to simulate real-world hot-shutdown conditions. This ensures seals and bearings perform under extreme temperature differentials.
