CP4 Failure Warning

Bosch CP4 pump failures are catastrophic — metal debris contaminates the entire fuel system including injectors, fuel lines, rail, and tank. If your CP4 has failed, you may also need our Diesel Injector Remanufacturing service and a fuel system decontamination. Contact us for bundled service options.

Ship Your Pump

Send the pump to our Long Beach, CA facility. Drain all fuel before shipping and secure all ports with protective caps. Prepaid labels available for qualifying units.

We Rebuild & Calibrate

Full teardown, cleaning, component replacement, reassembly with factory torque specs, and flow calibration. CP4 pumps receive upgraded bearing surfaces where available.

Pressure Tested & Returned

Full-pressure testing on Bosch EPS 815 across the RPM range. Shipped back with detailed test report, pressure curves, and new mounting gaskets.

What's Included in Every Pump Rebuild

Complete Teardown & Inspection

Every pump is fully disassembled. Pistons, cam rings, roller bearings, metering valves, pressure regulators, and drive shafts are inspected under magnification for scoring, pitting, and wear from contaminated fuel.

Precision Cleaning & Debris Removal

Multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning removes metal filings, fuel varnish, and water contamination. Internal galleries and passages are back-flushed to remove trapped debris that causes catastrophic failures.

OEM Component Replacement

All seals, O-rings, bearings, metering assemblies, and pressure relief valves replaced with OEM-spec parts. CP4 pumps receive upgraded bearing surfaces where available to prevent repeat failures.

Bosch EPS 815 Pressure Testing

Rebuilt pumps are tested at full operating pressure (up to 30,000 PSI for Common Rail) across the entire RPM range. Delivery volume, pressure regulation, and timing verified against OEM specifications.

Flow Rate Calibration

Precise flow calibration ensures each pump delivers the exact fuel quantity required by the ECM. Under-delivery causes power loss; over-delivery causes injector damage. Calibrated within 1% of OEM spec.

Electrical Testing

Metering unit solenoids, fuel pressure sensors, and shut-off valves are electrically tested for correct resistance, response time, and signal integrity. Failed electronics are replaced.

Pump Platforms We Service

Bosch CP3

The workhorse of Common Rail diesel. Found in 2001-2010 Duramax 6.6L, 2003-2018 Cummins 5.9L/6.7L (Dodge Ram), Mercedes CDI, VW TDI, and most European diesel platforms.

Bosch CP4

High-pressure pump in 2011+ Ford Power Stroke 6.7L, 2011+ Duramax 6.6L, BMW diesel, VW/Audi TDI. Known for catastrophic metal-on-metal failures that contaminate the entire fuel system.

Denso HP3 / HP4

Found in Toyota, Hino, Isuzu, and some Mitsubishi diesel platforms. HP4 is the high-pressure variant used in heavier applications. Reliable but susceptible to water contamination.

Delphi DFP / Lucas CAV

Used in Ford Transit, Land Rover, Jaguar, Perkins, JCB, and many European/Asian diesel applications. Older mechanical and newer electronic variants serviced.

Stanadyne DB/DS Series

Found in GM 6.2L/6.5L diesel, John Deere, Case IH, and agricultural/industrial applications. Mechanical rotary injection pumps with timing advance mechanisms.

Bosch VP44 / VP30

Electronic rotary distributor pumps used in 1998-2002 Dodge Ram Cummins VP44, BMW, Audi, VW, Ford. Known for electronic drive failure and internal bearing wear.
