Upgraded Fuel Injectors
Direct plug-and-play replacements for your stock fuel injectors — no tune, no flash, no engine modifications. Multi-hole Bosch spray nozzles correct the known factory defects on Siemens-equipped Dodge, Jeep, BMW, and Audi platforms while delivering measurably better atomization, torque, horsepower, and fuel economy.
What an Upgrade Injector IS
- • Direct OEM-fit electrical and fuel-rail interface
- • Calibrated to match your factory ECU fuel map
- • Multi-hole spray nozzle (typically 4-hole or 6-hole)
- • Plug-and-play — install, start, drive
- • Lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship
What it is NOT
- • Not a racing or competition injector
- • Not for forced-induction custom builds
- • Not requiring an ECU tune, flash, or remap
- • Not requiring fuel-pump or rail modifications
- • Not over-sized — flow rate stays within OEM spec
Six Benefits Over Worn Stock Injectors
Independent test results and customer feedback from over a thousand upgraded sets shipped from our Long Beach, California facility.
Better Fuel Atomization
Multi-hole nozzles produce a finer, more uniform fuel mist than single-pintle stock injectors — promoting complete combustion in every cylinder.
Increased Torque
More efficient combustion delivers higher cylinder pressure, translating to measurable low-end and mid-range torque gains without changing engine mods.
Improved Horsepower
Tighter spray patterns and faster injector response time recover horsepower that worn or under-spec stock injectors leave on the table.
Corrects Factory Defects
Many OEM injectors (notably Siemens Deka on Dodge/Jeep, certain Audi/BMW) ship with known leak or atomization issues. Upgraded units fix the root design problem.
Direct Plug-and-Play
Exact OEM electrical connector, fuel-rail O-ring, length, and impedance. Drop in — no tune, no flash, no remap, no modifications required.
Better Fuel Economy
Cleaner combustion means less unburned fuel down the exhaust. Many customers report measurable MPG gains after switching from worn OEMs.
When the OEM Injector Is the Problem
Several major OEM injector designs have well-documented failure modes that even a fresh OEM replacement does not solve. Aurus addresses these at the root by swapping in a Bosch multi-hole nozzle in the same physical and electrical envelope.
Dodge Ram 1500 · Jeep Grand Cherokee · Dodge Durango
OEM Issue: Siemens Deka / Bosch EV1 single-pintle injectors with sticky pintles, internal leakage, and uneven cylinder-to-cylinder flow.
Aurus Fix: Bosch 4-hole multi-hole spray nozzle, fully remanufactured with new internals — direct replacement, same length, same impedance, no tune needed.
Result: Eliminates cold-start hesitation, P0300 misfire codes, and the well-documented fuel smell at idle on the Magnum 4.7L and 5.7L HEMI.
BMW 3-Series · 5-Series · X3 · X5 (N52/N54 era port-side units)
OEM Issue: Original Siemens VDO injectors prone to coil failure and erratic flow on high-mileage units — triggering 29CC/29CD fault codes.
Aurus Fix: Bosch multi-hole upgrade with stronger coil and improved spray cone — same plug connector, same return-line geometry.
Result: Restores smooth idle, eliminates limp-mode events, and improves cold-start cranking time.
Audi A4 · A6 · VW Passat (1.8T port-injection generation)
OEM Issue: Aftermarket-replaced Siemens injectors often deliver poor atomization on the 1.8T, contributing to carbon build-up on intake valves.
Aurus Fix: Bosch multi-hole replacement matched to factory 19 lb/hr flow rate — direct EV1 connector fit.
Result: Cleaner intake valves over time, better throttle response, and reduced cold-start enrichment fuel-smell.
Ford Ranger · Mazda B4000 · Ford Explorer (4.0L V6 SOHC era)
OEM Issue: Original 14 lb/hr single-pintle injectors produce a wide spray and uneven cylinder fueling on the 4.0L V6 — known cause of long-term injector clog and rough idle.
Aurus Fix: Bosch 4-hole 19 lb/hr upgrade — direct fit on the same fuel rail with the original electrical connector and O-rings.
Result: Smoother idle, faster throttle response, and noticeably better MPG on the Explorer/Ranger 4.0L.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are upgraded injectors the same as racing or performance injectors?
No — and this is the most common misunderstanding. Aurus Upgraded Injectors are direct plug-and-play replacements for your stock injectors. They keep the same flow rate (or one-step-larger in well-matched cases), same connector, same length, and same impedance. There is no tune, no flash, no remap, and no engine modification required. Racing or performance injectors are designed for forced induction or modified engines and almost always require a custom calibration. Our upgrade tier sits between OEM replacement and race-only parts.
Do I need an ECU tune or flash to install these?
No. Every upgraded injector in this collection is calibrated to match the original OEM fuel map. Install, start, drive. If your vehicle ever needs a re-learn (some OBD-II vehicles relearn fuel trims in the first ~30 miles), that happens automatically.
How does a multi-hole nozzle help over the stock pintle injector?
Single-pintle injectors produce a coarse hollow spray cone that can wet cylinder walls and create uneven combustion. A 4-hole or 6-hole nozzle splits the same fuel volume into multiple finer streams aimed at the intake valves, producing better atomization, faster vaporization, and more complete combustion. The result is measurable improvement in idle quality, throttle response, and very often fuel economy.
Why are Siemens injectors known for leaking on Dodge and Jeep?
The original Siemens Deka and equivalent single-pintle units used on the 1999–2010 Magnum 4.7L, HEMI 5.7L, and Jeep Grand Cherokee suffer from internal pintle wear and sealing-seat erosion at high mileage. The failure shows up as a strong fuel smell at idle, hard cold starts, and P0300 misfires. Our Bosch multi-hole upgrade fixes both the leak and the underlying atomization problem at the same time.
What warranty comes with these?
Aurus Lifetime Warranty on every unit. If you ever experience a flow-rate deviation, leak, electrical failure, or seal failure for the life of your vehicle, contact us with your order number for a no-questions replacement.
Will I see better fuel economy?
Most customers do, especially when replacing high-mileage stock injectors. Cleaner combustion means less unburned fuel in the exhaust and more usable energy per pulse. We do not promise a specific MPG figure — too many other variables (driving style, octane, condition) — but we have not seen a customer report a drop in economy after switching.
About Aurus Upgrade Tier Fuel Injectors
Aurus Upgraded Injectors sit between our OEM-direct replacement line and dedicated motorsport/racing parts. They are designed for owners who want their daily-driver, work truck, or weekend cruiser to run measurably better than it did with worn factory injectors — without the cost and complication of a custom tune.
Each unit is fully remanufactured in-house. Original cores are disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, fitted with a Bosch multi-hole spray nozzle (typically a 4-hole or 6-hole pattern, selected to match the platform), pressure-tested for leak resistance, and flow-calibrated on a calibrated Bosch EPS 815 bench to within ±1% of the OEM flow rate. The result is a direct replacement that drops into the existing fuel rail with the original electrical connector and O-ring geometry.
Where a known OEM failure mode exists — for example, the leaking Siemens Deka injectors on the Dodge Magnum 4.7L and HEMI 5.7L, or the carbon-prone single-pintle designs on the 1.8T VAG platform — the upgrade also corrects the underlying problem. You get a smoother idle, faster cold starts, fewer P0300-family misfires, and very often a measurable improvement in fuel economy.
Every upgraded injector carries the full Aurus Lifetime Warranty. Free shipping on orders over $99 within the United States. Need help identifying the right upgrade for your application?
